The American Sloughi Association, Inc. (ASLA) held its National Specialty in conjunction with the American Rare Breed Association (ARBA) Cherry Blossom Classic in Washington, D. C. (April 25, 1999). This show is the largest rare breed dog show in the United States, often referred to as the "Westminster Show" for the rare breeds.
David Miller was the Sloughi National Specialty judge.
Having seen many sloughis during his several visits to Morocco, he knows the breed
well. We thank him for his expert judging and his pertinent remarks.
